Remote CARE assist & care APP

the aal project for more care

Care about Care aims at empowering stakeholders in professional home care ecosystems. It will provide new ICT-enhanced ways of collaboration and information exchange to enable older people to age at home and to improve care workflows. Eight teams from Austria, Belgium, Luxembourg and Switzerland will develop and test a digital «Remote Care Assist» system and a «CareApp» in three countries aross europe, by the end of 2023, involving more than 700 participants.

Introducing the aal project for more care

Care about Care aims at empowering stakeholders in professional home care ecosystems. It will provide new ICT-enhanced ways of collaboration and information exchange to enable older people to age at home and to improve care workflows. In the next two years, pan european teams from Austria, Belgium, Luxembourg and Switzerland will develop and test two pilot platforms of Care about Care in three countries involving more than 700 participants.

Project

Remote CARE Assist

Remote Care Assist is planned as a service for professionally supporting and advising care workers and informal carers. It will enable to use care-expert knowledge form a distance using new technologies like «augmented reality glasses» and «smart phones». By establishing «care expert centers», we will initiate new care workflows that help to retain experienced staff and attract young people into care.

Care APP

The Care App is planned as a hub for information access and exchange aimed at care organizations, care workers, their clients and informal carers. In addition, interfaces to link up to health record systems of end user organisations are part of the Care App. The platform will also facilitate a wide variety of information exchange and services options.
